Question. What is call divert or forwarding and how does it work?

 Written by Muhammad Rizwan Kamboh

the answer. Call forwarding or divert is a very useful service when you want calls to your number to go to another number under certain circumstances. They go on to talk about what those special circumstances are.
Call forward can do some very interesting things like if your number is on but the caller is off. If someone calls your number, they will hear that you have dialed a wrong number or your number is not in use.

And a very useful thing, especially for women, when a guy is calling you and harassing you, whenever he calls you, his call will go to your father or brother, but when any of your friends or acquaintances If you call, they will come to you.
Your mobile is about to be switched off and you want all calls to your number to go to your second number after your mobile is switched off. We will talk about all these methods at the end of the post. Now let's see under which conditions we can call forward.
Call Forward has four more options that you can use at your own convenience.

Option No. 1- Always Forward
This option transfers all calls to your number to the other number you enter in the Call Forward setting. After turning on this option, no call will come to your number whether you keep your number on or off.
Option No. 2- When busy
With this option, the call will come to your number first. If you hang up the call, the call will be transferred to another number. The caller will not know that the call has been transferred to another number. He will keep hearing the same call tone. Remember that only by cutting or buzzing the incoming call or pressing the red button, the call will be transferred to another number.
Option No. 3- When not answered
Selecting this option will also cause the call to come to your number first. If you do not answer the call, the call will be transferred to another number. If you hang up or pick up the call, the call will not be transferred to another number. The call will be transferred to another number only if you do not pick up the call.
Option No. 4- When not reachable
By selecting this option, the call will be transferred to another number only when there is no signal on your mobile. If there is a signal in your mobile, the call will come to you and will not be transferred to another number.
Now let's talk about some interesting things you can do with the call forward function.
1 "Showing off, incorrect or unused number even though the number is on"
Your number will be on, you can call everyone but no one will be able to call you. For this, the Always forward option will be used. In this option, you will enter a closed number, then the caller will hear that your desired number is closed. Similarly, if you enter a wrong number, the caller will hear that the number you entered is wrong or not in use.
2) If a call is harassing women, transfer the call to the number of father, brother or husband
For this, the When busy option will be used. In it, put the number of the person whose number you want to transfer the call to, when a call comes from someone you know, answer the call and talk, and when a call comes from a harasser or a new number, cut the call. The call will go to the number you set in the option.
3 "Don't miss any important calls"
If you are using two numbers, never one number personal, the urgent call will go to your second number. For this, the When not reachable option will be used.
4 "If an employee does not answer the call, the call will go to his supervisor"
Every call is important in business. If one of your employees cannot answer the call due to some constraint, then you want the call to go to another employee, then the when not answer option will be used.
5;You are on leave from office and want office calls to your number to go to another office colleague"
For this too, the Always forward option will be used. If you want all calls to come to you now, remove this option.
6"Your number is about to be closed and you want the calls to the closed number to be seconded after the number is closed."
Always forward option will be used for this too. Before turning off the mobile, first go to the settings and select the second number. After the number is closed, all calls will continue to the second number. After you turn on your number, go to settings and turn off the forward option.
Important thing. Call forward servers are free on almost every network, but when the call is transferred, the balance of the number from which the call is being transferred is also used. For example, if number A called number B and forwarded the call from number B, then number C will have the balance of number A because he has called number B also has the balance of number B. Why is the call transferred from number B to number C? If number B does not have a balance, the call will not be forwarded.
You can use all these options together by forwarding them to the same number or to different numbers and can use a single option or two or three options together.
