The evidences were received, after reviewing which it was confirmed that the moon of Ramadan has been seen in the country, thus the first fast will be observed in Pakistan tomorrow, Thursday, March 23.
Earlier, the announcement of the central Sighting of the Crescent Committee for the sighting of the Ramadan moon was delayed more than usual.

In this regard, according to Geo News, there were reports of 5 sightings of the moon from Peshawar and Mardan.

While the moon was not sighted in Islamabad, Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, the 4 zonal Sighting of the Crescent Committees formally announced that the moon was not sighted during the month of Ramadan. According to the report of the Department of Meteorology, Climate Data Processing Center, the moon of Ramadan was born on March 21 at 10:23 PM. It was reported that on March 22, the age of the moon was more than 20 hours at Maghrib time.On Wednesday, sunset occurred at 6:41 PM, while sunset occurred at 7:32 PM. Thus, there was a possibility of seeing the moon for 51 minutes after sunset. On Wednesday, Lahore's zonal sighting of the crescent committee first made a formal announcement regarding the sighting of the moon.


According to the statement, the Zonal Crescent Sighting Committee did not receive any evidence regarding the sighting of the moon in the provincial capital.
